What's the Job?
Analysts work on project teams with senior consultants and clients.
They coordinate projects and do background research, interviews, and
quantitative and qualitative analysis — among other things. This two-year
consulting position gives you a glimpse at how things work in many kinds
of companies and organizations across a range of industries.
Who Are We Looking For?
We want smart, eager people who can think well and write well. Analysts
need to be well organized and able to work in CFAR's relatively unstructured
environment. We are looking for recent college graduates or for people who
are in their first job and looking to move up. All majors are welcome; past
analysts' degree programs have included Sociology, Economics, Psychology,
History and English.
Where Do Analysts Go Next?
Our analyst position is full-time for two years and is a good training ground
for a variety of career directions. Networking opportunities abound. Analysts
have gone on to consulting, high-tech startups, law school and major foundations.
