Jennifer L. Tomasik along with Susan B. Hassmiller of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and Cheryl Hoying and Fred Ryckman of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center,  speak in a webinar entitled: Catalyzing Interprofessional Collaboration for the Nebraska Hospital Association. This webinar will also be broadcast through hospital associations in Idaho, Virginia, Maryland, Illinois, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and North Dakota


Collaboration between and among physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other clinical and administrative professionals will play an important role in the future of healthcare delivery. Based on findings from a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation project, this presentation will explore practices that promote interprofessional collaboration, describe what makes it possible for them to thrive, and explore how they improve patient-centered care. It will focus on Cincinnati Children’s Hospital’s experience building effective interprofessional practice across their organization, including the challenges they have overcome and the benefits they have received.
