Caleb White presents "If I Only Knew Then What I Know Now" at the April FFI New England Chapter Breakfast.
In 2000, Caleb joined the board of his family’s sixth-generation business, Ensign-Bickford Industries, Inc. In 2006, EBI sold its legacy explosives business, after which its longtime chairman died of cancer. Caleb left his job at BP in London and moved to Boston to help navigate EBI’s strategic decisions over this tumultuous period. He served as CEO from 2008 to 2014. Since 2015, Caleb has been a family-business consultant at CFAR, taking in many lessons as a practitioner that could have helped the family and him greatly during the transition at EBI. In this presentation, Caleb shares some of these hard-earned lessons.
