What to expect

CFAR’s Next-Gen Peer Group provides a confidential forum for consultation on live business and family topics and challenges, support and accountability, and personal and professional development.

Members of our peer group are current or rising leaders in their family businesses who are looking to continue to strengthen their skills, development, and network. Together, we discuss participants’ wins and challenges, hear from subject matter experts on a variety of topics, and share business cases at the intersection of the individual, their roles (owners, managers, leaders), their family, and their businesses.

Topics include:

  • Management and ownership succession
  • Family dynamics
  • Mergers and acquisitions
  • Business strategy
  • Family and corporate governance
  • Family engagement
  • Conflict resolution
  • Attracting and retaining talent
